Mommy-and-Me Mornings

Every Tuesday, 10 am - 1 pm

FREE, Come for as long or short as you like. Bring your little ones aged 0-10 yrs to feed our animals, play in the flowers, and hang out in our picnic area with other moms, including farmer Eve and her two little ones. RSVP if possible to 631-523-6608 or farmer@gardenofevefarm.com

 

Gentle Yoga

Start your day with a relaxing stretch looking out at farmfields and the rising sun. Taught by Certified Yoga Instructor Peter Ames. $15, rain cancels

 

Nutrition and Cooking Workshops

Learn to bring wholesome, fresh organic foods and eating habits into your life through this comprehensive series of small group workshops taught by Angelina Bertani, Holistic Health Counselor. $15 includes some fresh produce items to take home. Topics to include: Sustainability from Farm to Kitchen; Glorious Greens; Sugar Blues; Women’s Health Issues; Eating for Energy.

Farm Visit Program

We’d love to have you and your group visit the farm! Together we can do many fun activities to help you experience what farm life and organic agriculture are like. We can custom tailor programs to meet the needs of your group, depending on your interests, age of visitors, duration of the visit, etc. Cost is approx $6 per person. Click here for more info.

Farm and Food Intensive Weekend Retreat

Have you ever collected warm eggs from under a chicken's breast, and then eaten them for breakfast? Done a comparison tasting of six different kinds of greens to see which is your favorite? You know you want to eat better, but you're not sure how to achieve your goal. Join us for a relaxing weekend on the farm to learn about organic farming, food, and yourself. 2008 Third Annual Pre-Thanksgiving

CSA Potluck & fundraiser for Just Food!

We are sure to have this annual event the Saturday before Thanksgiving at a location TBD in Williamsburg. Try out your Thanksgiving recipies, enjoy lots of delicious food, and meet interesting CSA members and farmers from across New York City and beyond. We bring the free-range pastured turkey, you bring the sweet potato pie!

Suggested Donation: $15 if you bring a dish, $20 if you don't - $$ will be donated to "Just Food",  a non-profit organization which brings community groups and farms together to start CSA programs in New York City.
