Dear
Eve,
You are invited to this
year's Spring Retreat.
"Farming
Yourself", is a weekend dedicated
to :
- personal growth
- inner exploration
- nature hikes, star gazing, ocean activites
- one-on-one cooking classes
- basic yoga instruction
- creative gardening
- community building
Maybe you've heard about
the importance of eating fresh local food, but have you
ever collected warm eggs from under a chicken's feathery
breast, then gone home and fried them for
breakfast?
You know it's good to eat green leafy
vegetables, but have you ever cooked six different kinds
at one meal and done your own taste test to see which
you like best?
During this "Intensive
Farm & Food" weekend we'll give you the tools you
need to walk your talk, whether that means making the
personal diet and life changes you've planned on for so
long, or working with your family, friends, or clients to
teach about holistic health and nutrition.
We'll
hunt and gather, cook and eat, do the physical work of
farming and the spiritual work of
reflection.
"Some
where in the middle of the subways, cell phones, and
palm pilots...we've lost our relationship to Nature, the
Earth, and our Wise Humanly Intuition". -Christi
Collins
